LERATO & HER DRUM, a new musical:

Written by international critically acclaimed mother daughter duo LeeAnet and Lauretta Noble this play takes you inside the world of a young girl battling anxiety who finds her voice in a talking drum. This musical blends the cultures of America and South Africa and celebrates our connection to our elders and ancestors.

The Project:

This musical received its first full reading in Johannesburg, South Africa as a collaboration with Amajika Performing Arts, nonprofit org

The Future:

As a collaboration with a local theatre on Maryland and Amajika Arts the next step of development will be connecting students in South Africa with students in the United States to become junior dramaturgs with a culminating event bringing both worlds together much like in the play.

The GOSPEL of DANCE:

An journey inside the connection of dance and spirituality featuring popular gospel artists, local musicians, Broadway artists, various forms of dancing including West African Dance, Tap Dance, Bharatnatyam classical Indian dance, liturgical and more.
