If, on the eve of Paris Fashion Week in September 2013, anyone thought they had seen it all on the runway, they were sorely mistaken. The presentation of the Rick Owens spring-summer 2014 collection stunned even the most unmoved. “No one will soon forget this show”, “Is this the beginning of a revolution?”, “Owens shook Paris”, “Breaked the fashion pattern” – the newspapers wrote. The show, titled “Vicious,” was nothing like the traditional, emotionless, and somewhat nerdy runway parade viewers were used to seeing. The American designer decided to replace professional models with dancers. Their electrifying and expressive step dance show’ u eclipsed the rest of the fashion week’s shows, and additionally made even Owens’s creations recede into the background.
